Job summary

Aduro Advisors is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our US-based team working with venture capital and private equity clients. You will reconcile banking, drive month-end close, and prepare quarterly statements while maintaining strong client relationships.

The role emphasizes ownership of accounting tasks, investor communications in FundPanel, and collaboration with Controllers. A CPA or MBA is a plus, with experience in Xero and QuickBooks valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in audit, alt asset industry, or fund administration.
• CPA certification or MBA is a plus.
• External auditor experience is valuable.
• Experience in a client-facing role supporting multiple clients.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service mindset.
• Experience with Xero and QuickBooks preferred.
• Proficiency with Box, Gsuite, Slack and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile banking transactions and prepare journal entries in accordance with US GAAP in Xero
• Drive month-end close process and raise follow-up questions to Controller or client
• Assist in preparing quarterly financial statements
• Work closely with your Controller to manage client relationships in a client-facing role
• Prepare and send investor communications in FundPanel including capital contributions, distributions, quarterly reporting and capital statements
• Maintain investor and investment information and other fund metrics in FundPanel
• Maintain legal documents including formation and investment documents in Box
• Prepare and obtain documents for annual audit and tax process
