Job summary

Aduro Advisors is seeking an Accounting Manager to support a dedicated client base in the Venture Capital & Private Equity space. You will handle banking reconciliations, month-end close, and prepare quarterly statements while engaging directly with clients.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in audit or fund administration, and experience with Xero, QuickBooks, and FundPanel. This role offers remote work options across the US and eligibility for Aduro Bonus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in audit, alternative asset industry, or fund administration.
• External auditor experience is preferred; CPA or MBA is a plus.
• Experience supporting multiple clients in a client-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile banking transactions and prepare journal entries following US GAAP in Xero.
• Drive month-end close and raise follow-up questions to Controller or client.
• Assist in preparing quarterly financial statements.
• Collaborate with Controller to manage client relationships as a client-facing role.
• Prepare investor correspondence including capital notices and quarterly reporting in FundPanel.
• Maintain investor and investment data in FundPanel.
• Manage legal documents in Box related to formation and investments.
• Prepare and obtain documents for annual audit and tax processes.
