Job summary

CityVet - Alamo Heights is seeking a Client Service Specialist to be the first point of contact for clients in our daytime clinic. You will manage check-ins, schedule appointments, and ensure a welcoming, efficient patient flow while maintaining exceptional client relationships.

The role emphasizes in-person patient interactions, strong communication, and teamwork to support grooming, clinical, and retail activities.

Qualifications

• Essential qualifications: At least 18 years of age at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage appointment check-ins and book new appointments, coordinating with the team on discharge information for grooming, clinic, walk-ins, technician appointments, boarding and retail appointments.
• Prioritize scheduled appointments, client education, and lobby triage by vaccine, wellness, parasite and retail needs to ensure an efficient schedule and daily workflow.
• Greet and welcome all clients entering the clinic, assist with check-in, communicate delays, care for clients during wait times, and notify staff of arrivals.
