Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Personal Banker to deliver an outstanding client experience at our Tacoma location. You will identify client needs, offer suitable products, open accounts, and support lending initiatives while maintaining accuracy in cash handling.

You will engage clients in financial reviews, build relationships, and refer opportunities to internal partners. A minimum High School Diploma or GED is required with Teller experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year Teller or other banking experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of consumer banking and business products/services.
• Ability to develop consumer lending skills.
• Ability to accurately handle cash, balance accounts and drawers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client experience by acknowledging and addressing inquiries promptly.
• Engage clients in financial reviews to provide solutions and identify needs.
• Open Consumer and Business accounts for existing and new clients.
• Assist Client Service Specialists and cover teller functions when needed.
• Refer clients to internal business partners for appropriate products/services.
• Resolve client issues with proactive follow-through.
