Job summary

Truist in the United States is seeking a Regular full-time teller-focused associate to provide timely, accurate client service and transaction processing. You will engage clients, educate on digital banking tools, and support the sales process through outbound outreach and cross-functional collaboration.

The role emphasizes understanding IRM, maintaining compliance with policies, and participating in training to expand product knowledge and service capabilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients, handling transactions, and uncovering needs with accuracy.
• Educate clients on digital/self-service solutions (ATMs, Online and Mobile banking).
• Support team sales by outbound calls, checking offers, and identifying client needs.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance knowledge through training and meetings to better serve clients.
• Adhere to internal controls, procedures, and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and issue resolution.
