Job summary

Support Tech LLC is seeking a Technical Project Manager / Solutions Engineer to bridge project management, engineering, field implementation, and the client in a remote/hybrid capacity. The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams and participating in technical implementation when needed.

The ideal candidate will combine project management rigor with solid networking knowledge, overseeing initiatives from planning through cutover and validation.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in IT infrastructure engineering or related fields.
• Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, DHCP, DNS, and wireless.
• Experience with infrastructure implementations and production cutovers.
• Ability to coordinate technical projects from planning through completion.
• Ability to read technical documentation and project scopes.
• Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to balance hands-on work with project coordination responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Own project schedules, milestones, dependencies, and communications.
• Coordinate engineers, technicians, installers, vendors, and third parties.
• Lead pre-staging of equipment and validation of prerequisites.
• Manage production cutovers and post-cutover validation.
• Provide technical handoff to support teams and document lessons learned.
• Explain technical requirements and risks to clients in business terms.
