Job summary

TEKsystems Global Services seeks an Engagement Manager I to lead delivery across one or more projects. You will own customer expectations, deliver assurance on services and outcomes, and quantify business benefits from engagements. This role may require up to 50% travel.

You will collaborate with Practice, Solutions, and Sales to drive growth, manage risks, and maintain high client satisfaction while aligning with contract objectives and company values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, relevant experience.
• 10+ years’ experience in technology and/or professional services.
• 2+ years in IT service management/project management.
• 2+ years in traditional and agile project management.
• Experience delivering client professional services agreements; IT experience in delivery lead roles.
• Agile or PMP, ITIL or related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Urgently and actively manage project and customer requirements to ensure satisfaction and contract compliance.
• Explain how the solution delivers business value over technology features.
• Perform health checks with client teams against target metrics defined at engagement onset.
• Establish reference-ability and support ongoing client relationships.
• Define and implement a Communications Plan with continuous updates and risk escalation.
• Collaborate on Account Strategy with internal stakeholders.
• Develop and demonstrate leadership, risk awareness and governance across teams.
