Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an Engagement Manager II to lead delivery across engagements, ensuring success metrics, client satisfaction, and profitable outcomes. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, maintain executive-level communications, and drive value for clients.

The role requires strong PM skills, stakeholder management, and a track record of managing complex IT services engagements. Travel may be required a few times per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (English).
• Analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• People management skills.
• Experience in project management fundamentals or as an acting Scrum Master.
• Exposure to professional services agreements including the change management process.
• Exposure to IT Managed Services and IT certifications.
• Demonstrated project risk analysis and mitigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engagements to ensure objectives are achieved, delivered on schedule, and within budget.
• Build rapport and maintain relationships with client stakeholders.
• Regularly inform stakeholders about progress, challenges, and results.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and profitability of engagements.
• Ensure efficient resource utilization across engagements and optimize outcomes.
• Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
• Prepare detailed performance reports for senior management and clients.
• Lead larger engagement teams and mentor resources.
