Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Client Engagement Specialist to manage inbound and outbound homeowner communications in a professional and friendly manner. The role supports both Client Engagement and Collections teams as needed.

Responsibilities include resolving issues in our mortgage servicing system, documenting interactions, and promoting company products while maintaining high homeowner satisfaction. Prior experience in mortgage servicing and call centers is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous mortgage servicing experience required.
• 1-2 years of call center experience preferred.
• Minimum education: High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to document and track communications.
• Able to collaborate across business areas and teams.

Responsibilities

• Navigate homeowner communications professionally and efficiently.
• Research and resolve homeowner issues using our servicing system.
• Document all homeowner communications thoroughly.
• Promote Valon-specific products and services focusing on homeowner satisfaction.
• Identify delinquent accounts and locate homeowners using various data sources.
• Determine collectability and set up repayment plans as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
