Job description

At NIQ, we deliver the most complete and clear understanding of consumer buying behavior that reveals new pathways to growth. We are looking to add a Client Director to our Industry Insights team.

Remote-based role based in the US. Candidates must be physically located within the US.

Job Description

As a Director, you'll lead a team of Client Managers, ACMs, and Analysts; guiding and coaching them to support clients in analyzing data through NIQ tools and services, based on NIQ standards and service models. Your role is to ensure clients receive insights on industries, markets, and consumers to make informed business decisions. You will be responsible for driving NIQ's CS Industry Insights mission through Thought Leadership and ensuring the delivery of team KPIs.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and develop a team of analytics associates, providing feedback and recognition to maintain high standards of performance and professionalism.
  2. Own the CS Industry Insights mission for your team through Thought Leadership.
  3. Ensure team delivery aligns with KPIs and success metrics.
  4. Partner with the Account Lead to enhance the customer experience.
  5. Drive execution of Service Model and JBPs.
  6. Oversee team completion of the Academy program and develop probing skills to identify key business questions.
  7. Guide the team in data visualization and developing impactful insights and recommendations.
  8. Manage client expectations in project scoping, prioritization, and time management.
  9. Demonstrate strong question probing skills to uncover critical business questions.
  10. Identify and create opportunities for incremental sales through strong client relationships and partnerships.
  11. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to address and remove roadblocks.
  12. Drive customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality analyses and insights.
  13. Be bilingual (CPS+RMS) and demonstrate consumer-driven marketing culture, probing clients for more business questions, generating CPS leads, and persuading clients on NIQ's propositions.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in the CPG industry or related sales, category management, or market research.
  • Background in the BevAl industry.
  • Experience with NielsenIQ solutions or similar analytics tools, including POS/Panel data.
  • Leadership experience in coaching teams.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, and Slides.
  • Digital savviness and quick learning ability.
  • Ability to incorporate industry knowledge and Thought Leadership into analyses.
  • Proficiency in utilizing NIQ data sources like RMS, Homescan, Omni, Spectra, etc.
  • Experience in using Discover and addressing client concerns to increase usage.
  • Ability to coach others in data analysis and NIQ tools.
Additional Information

This role offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $145,000, with actual compensation based on experience and location. Additional benefits include performance bonuses, flexible work environment, comprehensive health insurance, parental leave, life insurance, education support, and more.
