Job summary

S&ME, Inc. in Charleston, South Carolina is seeking a motivated Client Developer to lead business development initiatives and support the environmental, geotechnical, and construction materials testing teams out of the Charleston office.

You’ll partner with Project Management, Communications, and Marketing to build new client connections, strengthen existing partnerships, and drive initiatives that expand office revenue while elevating client engagement.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Existing relationships with various A/E/C industry Designers, Contractors, and Owners.
• Ability to travel using personal vehicle for company business, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development initiatives to drive office revenue.
• Partner with Project Management, Communications, and Marketing to build client connections.
• Cultivate current client partnerships and identify new business opportunities in the Charleston market.
• Support development and submission of proposals and Statements of Qualifications (SOQs/RFQs).
• Mentor project managers and staff to strengthen client engagement and business development capabilities.
