S&ME, Myrtle Beach, SC, is seeking a Construction Materials Project Manager to lead CMT and Special Inspection initiatives. You will oversee technical operations, mentor staff, and manage client relations on diverse projects in geotechnical, civil, and construction materials testing.

The role requires a Civil Engineering background with 4+ years of experience, EIT, and strong knowledge of industry standards. This is a full-time on-site role with growth potential and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or related Engineering field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience.
• EIT certification required; PE license preferred or obtainable.
• Active ICC, ACI, and DOT certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct CMT and Special Inspection projects through completion, managing budgets, schedules, staffing, and technical activities.
• Engage with clients and contractors through project meetings and site visits to clarify expectations and resolve concerns.
• Oversee inspection services, evaluate field records, and coach technicians and engineers to maintain testing accuracy and reporting quality.
• Prepare project reports, scopes of work, and cost estimates with thorough, on-time delivery.
• Expand client partnerships and participate in professional groups to drive business development.
