Empac Group, Inc. seeks an Employment Specialist to tailor employment services to clients' abilities, skills, and interests.

The role covers job readiness, job development, placement, on-site training, and job-retention support to ensure client success. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred), 2–4 years of related experience, and a valid driver’s license with the ability to obtain a Class E Chauffeur’s License within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 2-4 years of work experience in a related field is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license at time of application and obtain a Class E Chauffeur’s License within 30 days of hire. Must maintain safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Tailor employment services based on a person’s abilities, skills, and career interests.
• Conduct job readiness and exploration activities, job development, placement, on-site training, and job-retention support.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress with clear communication to supervisor.
• Identify opportunities for job restructuring to accommodate needs of individuals with disabilities.
• Develop positive relationships with employers to promote supported employment in the community.
