Job summary

The Center for Disability Services is seeking an Employment Specialist to help individuals in the Supported Employment Program with job development, training, advocacy and personal support. The role requires strong communication, the ability to follow directions, basic math skills, and the capacity to lift up to 50 pounds.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree or 4 years of vocational experience and possesses a valid NYS driver's license in good standing, as you will use your own

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree or 4 years vocational experience is required.
• 1 year experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
• NYS driver's license in good standing; the position requires use of own vehicle.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
