Job summary

Valley Behavioral Health seeks a Client Care Technician to provide direct support in residential and housing programs, helping residents work toward self-sufficiency and treatment goals. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and foster a safe, therapeutic environment.

The role emphasizes practical support, daily living skills coaching, and connecting clients with community resources. CPR and de-escalation training are obtained post-hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• No prior experience required; behavioral health experience preferred.
• CPR certification and Valley de-escalation certification post-hire are required.

Responsibilities

• Engages clients in activities and interactions to support treatment goals.
• Provides individualized support to address personal challenges and improve daily living skills.
• Models independent living skills such as hygiene, budgeting, and meal prep in one-to-one and group settings.
• Observes and communicates client behavior observations to the treatment team.
• Conducts routine room and common area inspections for safety and cleanliness.
• Distributes medications and follows medication management procedures.
• Documents client interactions, interventions, and incidents timely and accurately.
