Job summary

Valley Behavioral Health in Utah is seeking a Client Care Technician to work directly with clients to strengthen daily living skills, navigate challenges, and make progress toward treatment and recovery goals.

The Client Care Technician provides direct support in residential and housing programs, collaborates with a multidisciplinary treatment team, and helps residents develop self-sufficiency in a safe, therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification to be obtained post-hire.
• Valley de-escalation certification to be obtained post-hire.
• Preferred qualifications: Previous behavioral health or social services experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages clients in activities to support treatment and recovery goals.
• Provides individualized support to address personal challenges and promote improvement.
• Models and teaches independent living skills (hygiene, budgeting, meals, time management).
• Observes client behavior and communicates observations to the treatment team.
• Distributes medications and documents procedures per policy.
• Maintains timely documentation of client interactions and progress.
