Job summary

Valley Behavioral Health seeks a Client Care Technician to support residents in residential and housing programs. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and help clients progress toward self-sufficiency and personal growth.

The role involves teaching life skills, facilitating activities, and documenting progress to inform treatment plans within a non-profit behavioral health setting. Shift schedule includes weekend and evening hours.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Engages clients in activities and interactions designed to encourage achievement of treatment and recovery goals.
• Provides individualized support to address personal challenges and opportunities for improvement.
• Models and teaches independent living skills including hygiene, budgeting, meal preparation, and time management.
• Observes and assesses clients’ behavior and communicates significant observations to the treatment team.
• Distributes medications and follows all medication management and documentation procedures.
