Job summary

Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge in Minneapolis seeks On-Call Women's Next Steps Program Staff to support female clients transitioning between programs with compassionate, client-centered care in a residential setting.

The role emphasizes observation, de-escalation, trauma-informed care, and motivational interviewing within a mission-driven team focused on recovery and personal growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One of: health/human services study leading to BA/BS/AA, or one year of experience with target population, or MH certified peer specialist.
• Must be able to meet MN Subtype driving and age requirements; 21+ and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide client-centered support on living and programming floors.
• Serve as first point of contact for client questions; respond promptly and involve staff when needed.
• Maintain a safe, calm shift environment and support continuity of care with incoming staff.
• Document shift activities, observe client mood, and communicate observations to the care team.
