Job summary

MN Adult & Teen Challenge in Minnesota seeks a Client Care Supervisor to lead staff operations and coach Client Care Specialists in a client-centered recovery approach. The role focuses on supporting clients, managing shifts, and ensuring safety and compliance while fostering growth and healing.

You will supervise hiring, training, scheduling, and performance reviews; on-call weekends; coordinate with nursing for medication management; and model the Culture of Honor in every interaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; equivalent combination of education and experience.
• BA/BS/Associate in health or human services or one year of target population experience; supervisory exp helpful.
• Comfort and compassion with individuals facing life-controlling challenges.
• Commitment to MnTC’s Culture of Honor in every client interaction.
• Ability to de-escalate and manage difficult or emotional client situations.
• Model spiritual practices through personal prayer and chapel participation.
• Willing to support client spiritual growth by participating in prayer and chapel.
• Strong interpersonal communication and people management skills.
• Ability to multitask in a demanding environment with interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Staff supervision: hiring, onboarding, and annual performance reviews.
• Oversee calendar, PTO/LOA, and staffing coverage.
• On-floor client supervision with trauma-informed care.
• Coordinate with nursing for medication management and safety.
• Program operations: enforce policies, training, and event staffing.
• Be on-call every weekend to address issues.
• Safe transport of clients as needed.
