$66,000.00/yr - $71,000.00/yr

Position Overview

The firm values collaboration, integrity, and client service and is seeking a Client Billing Representative to join its team. This individual will partner closely with attorneys and administrative staff to manage client billing processes, ensure accuracy, and resolve billing-related issues. The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting or finance, excellent numerical and organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in an accounting or billing function; law firm experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and comfort working with numbers and data
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure
  • Skilled in math and spreadsheet work, ensuring billing accuracy and efficiency
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative, positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated confidentiality with sensitive firm and client information

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, prepare, and process client bills according to attorney and client instructions
  • Verify daily billing production and ensure accuracy of entries
  • Generate time and billing reports using database software and prepare ad hoc reports as needed
  • Print and distribute pre-bills and billing-related documents for attorneys and clients
  • Provide training and support for internal billing systems, including ExpertImage, iTimekeep, and PrebillManager
  • Learn and utilize various third-party billing systems to meet client needs
  • Collaborate with team members to provide backup support during absences and assist other areas of the Finance Department as required
