Job summary

Truist in the United States seeks a Universal Banker for the 1st shift to provide timely, accurate client transactions and superior service, while guiding clients on digital banking options.

You will participate in outbound calls, support Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities, and collaborate with branch teams to meet client needs, with a foundation in strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• 6 months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients with courteous conversation and by performing complex and standard transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support team sales by outbound outreach, checking offers, and identifying client needs or opportunities.
• Understand IRM to deliver Truist expertise and solutions for client needs.
• Participate in all components of the Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance knowledge through training and meetings to better serve clients.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk policies and stay updated on changes.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, routing to appropriate branches or specialists.
