Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation in Florida seeks a Regular (1st shift) teller/customer service associate to provide timely client transactions and accurate record-keeping. You will support outbound calls and IRM activities, delivering high-quality service while identifying client needs.

Responsibilities include educating clients on digital banking tools, handling complex and standard transactions, and adhering to internal controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience and handle complex and standardized transactions.
• Educate clients on digital self-service tools including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support sales by outbound calls and identifying client needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions for clients’ needs.
• Participate in the Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance product knowledge through trainings and meetings.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and problem resolution.
