M&F Bank is seeking a Universal Banker to handle a blend of sales and service, opening new accounts, processing transactions and cross-selling banking products. You will contribute to branch goals while delivering high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 18+ months of banking experience, strong cash handling, excellent communication and a willingness to learn, with bilingual English/Spanish being a plus.

Formación

• 18+ months financial institution experience with accurate cash handling
• Proven proactive sales and opening new accounts
• 6+ months experience processing consumer loans
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Responsabilidades

• Provide a full range of customer services including opening accounts and explaining products.
• Actively cross-sell and track products to meet sales goals.
• Meet monthly sales goals and conduct customer contact strategy calls.
• Process transactions, verify cash and endorsements on items, issue receipts.
• Adhere to schedule and branch location policies.
• Maintain knowledge of security policies and compliance.
• Provide back-up support to other branch staff as needed.
