Job summary

Truist is hiring in Myrtle Beach, SC for a Regular full-time Teller role. You will provide timely completion of client transactions, guide customers on digital banking, and assist with outbound calls and IRM activities to support sales and service.

The position emphasizes customer service, accuracy, and adherence to policies, with opportunities to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience with courteous conversation while handling transactions.
• Educate clients on digital/self-service solutions including ATMs and online/mobile banking.
• Support sales through outbound outreach and identifying client needs.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attend training to advance product knowledge and service skills.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.
