Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is hiring a customer service oriented teller/representative to handle client transactions and maintain accurate records. You will guide clients through digital banking options and support outbound outreach while contributing to Integrated Relationship Management activities.

This role emphasizes exceptional client experience, adherence to controls, and ability to work weekends with some travel to support branch operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months client relationship building or sales experience.
• Proficient in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure a consistent service level by engaging clients with smiling, courteous conversation, and handling complex or standard transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support team sales process by outbound client outreach, checking for offers, and identifying client needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions for clients’ needs.
• Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures and risk management policies; stay informed on policy updates.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering applicable products and services to clients and prospects.
