Job summary

Mowery & Schoenfeld, LLC is seeking a CAS Senior Associate to join our Client Advisory Services team. This role works directly with senior management and focuses on accounting advisory projects, including remediations, new procedures implementations, and US GAAP conversions, with emphasis on improving client outcomes.

Ideal candidates have a CPA or CPA-eligibility, at least 2 years in accounting, a Bachelor's in accounting, and strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• CPA or CPA-eligible with 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting required; advanced degree a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Client Accounting advisory projects, including remediations and new procedures.
• US GAAP conversions and related advisory tasks.
• Month-end close process and preparation of financial statements.
• Client trainings on new procedures and accounting principles.
• Preparation of financial forecasts and KPI reports.
• Accounts payable, payroll accounting, and vendor management.
• Maintain sub-ledgers for balance sheet accounts.
• Support on business tax filings (1096, 1099, payroll, sales tax).
• Support annual audits and transaction advisory projects.
