Job summary

Mowery & Schoenfeld LLC is seeking a CAS Senior Associate to join our advisory team in Lincolnshire, IL. You will work directly with senior management on client accounting advisory projects, including remediations, GAAP conversions, and new procedures, while supporting close processes and financial statement preparation.

The ideal candidate has CPA eligibility, at least two years of accounting experience, a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and strong analytical, organizational, and communication

Qualifications

• CPA eligible or CPA certified.
• 2+ years of accounting experience in public accounting or client advisory services.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting required; advanced degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead client accounting advisory projects, including remediations and new procedures.
• Support month-end close processes and preparation of financial statements.
• Provide client trainings on new procedures and accounting principles.
• Prepare financial forecasts and KPI reports; manage bank reconciliations.
