Job summary

Frederick Fox, an established CPA firm, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Client Accounting Specialist to join its team. You will manage day-to-day bookkeeping for a portfolio of small and mid-sized business clients, ensuring accurate financial records.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Experience in a CPA firm, public accounting, outsourced accounting group, or CAS team is preferred.
• Experience supporting multiple clients or entities simultaneously.
• Solid understanding of debits/credits and general accounting principles.
• Strong reconciliation and month-end accounting skills.
• Comfortable communicating directly with clients.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledgers and accurate financial records
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
• Process payroll and related accounting as needed
• Research and resolve account discrepancies
• Communicate directly with clients regarding accounting questions and missing information
• Work closely with CPAs and other accounting professionals
• Help improve bookkeeping processes and maintain organized client records
