Job summary

BST Gallagher Flynn is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee financial reporting for multiple client entities and lead a team of accounting specialists. You will drive month-end close, implement robust controls, and provide strategic financial guidance to clients.

You will build relationships with clients, present insights at meetings, and support budgets/forecasts while fostering a collaborative, high-performance team environment in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent plus relevant experience.
• GAAP knowledge, internal controls, and financial reporting expertise.
• Experience with CPA firms or outsourced accounting services preferred.
• Proficient in cloud-based accounting systems and related tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting for multiple client entities and timetables.
• Supervise and develop accounting specialists and allocate work.
• Oversee month-end close, year-end tasks, and audits.
• Provide advisory insights and help optimize client processes.
• Manage client relationships and board/management discussions.
• Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and vendor/payables/receivables.
