Core Financial Outsourcing, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager (Client Accounting Services) to oversee multiple client accounts and lead a team of staff accountants.

You will ensure accurate financial reporting, mentor staff, and drive process improvements across client engagements. You will work with clients and internal teams to optimize workflows, manage month-end close, and deliver high-quality accounting services in a collaborative, flexible environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of accounting experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience managing accounting staff.
• Experience managing month-end close and financial reporting processes.
• Experience in public accounting, outsourced accounting, or client accounting services.
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor for a diverse portfolio of clients, identifying accounting needs and developing customized solutions.
• Lead, mentor, and review the work of Staff Accountants to ensure accuracy and high-quality client service.
• Manage financial reporting and month-end close processes for client accounts.
• Oversee year-end financial reporting and account reconciliations.
• Provide high-level accounting support including bookkeeping oversight, adjusting journal entries, and cash flow forecasting.
• Develop and improve financial reporting processes used internally and externally.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, audits, and internal controls.
