Job summary

BST Gallagher Flynn LLP in Latham, NY, is seeking a Client Accounting & Projects Manager to lead accounting engagements, manage client projects, and provide strategic advisory services throughout the engagement lifecycle.

You will oversee financial reporting, forecasting, and audits, partner with leadership across three-phased delivery, and guide a team to deliver accurate, timely results while enhancing client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of progressive outsourced accounting, advisory, or public accounting experience.
• Experience with cloud-based accounting solutions and integrated platforms.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience leading client assessments, implementations and managed services transitions.
• Proven ability to work with executive leadership and Boards.

Responsibilities

• Lead client accounting projects and strategic advisory services.
• Manage three-phased delivery model: Assessment, Implementation, Managed Services.
• Oversee monthly financial reporting, balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.
• Coordinate audits and tax return preparation processes.
• Mentor and develop project accounting team members.
• Ensure compliance and timely completion of reporting requirements.
