Job summary

Directions for Living is seeking a Client Access & Engagement Representative in Clearwater, FL to handle front desk, telephone support, scheduling, and care coordination. You will assist clients in navigating behavioral health and community-based services, ensuring timely and confidential service access.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed, culturally responsive care, insurance verification, and data entry, with an essential services environment and a focus on equity and recovery-oriented

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 0-1 year’s relevant experience in a health care Admissions/Scheduling/Access environment preferred.
• Experience with EHR and/or practice management software environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide client access and engagement functions at the front desk.
• Offer reception, telephone support, service navigation and scheduling.
• Coordinate multiple client services and collect initial assessment paperwork.
• Verify insurance, collect copay/coinsurance, and perform data entry.
