Job summary

Yavapai College's Center for Learning and Innovation seeks a CLI Student Fellow to support daily operations, guide visitors, and assist with learning technologies. You will help run events, create digital content, and promote the CLI’s transformative spaces across campus.

You will gain leadership, communication, customer service, technology, and teamwork skills while contributing to student success initiatives and institutional support.

Qualifications

• FAFSA must be verified and on file at Yavapai College
• Enrolled in at least six credits, with one course toward your program
• Be in good financial aid standing at Yavapai College
• Have unmet financial aid need as determined by FAFSA
• Receiving financial aid from Yavapai College

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist students, faculty, staff, community members, and visitors in CLI spaces
• Conduct tours of CLI, explaining vision, mission, and pillars
• Highlight CLI hubs: Resource & Study Hub, Faculty Support Hub, Innovative Technologies Hub, Community Engagement Hub
• Provide peer-level assistance with learning technologies (Canvas, study tools, media equipment, VR/AR)
• Support day-to-day CLI operations, study hubs, labs, and community rooms
• Assist with events, workshops, and trainings in CLI spaces
• Contribute content creation for digital media, marketing materials, photography, video, social media
• Support visitors, partners, and programs across the institution with other departments
• Maintain collaborative spaces, equipment, and tech-enabled classrooms
• Serve as a student voice, offering feedback and ideas for innovation
