Job summary

Jobtailor in Houston, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate to process orders, maintain inventory in a WMS, and perform data entry tasks. You will handle domestic and international shipping documents, support safety procedures, and work a weekend night shift Sunday–Tuesday and alternating Saturdays, 6:15 PM–6:30 AM.

Requires High School Diploma, 1 year warehouse experience, basic MS Office, and ability to lift and stand for long periods.

Requirements

• Ability to speak, read (fine print) and write in English, including reading, understanding and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of warehouse experience
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed
• Experience entering and maintaining information in a WMS
• Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for long periods of time
• Ability to handle or manage tools or equipment
• Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
• Conditional offer may require passing a pre-employment drug test
