Job summary

Bally's Corporation is seeking a guest-focused reservations associate to handle calls, process hotel and event bookings, and manage guest accounts at our Evansville property. You will coordinate with gaming and lodging systems, promote promotions, and assist guests with alternative options as needed.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma and strong customer service skills, with attention to detail and time management. Flexible hours, including weekends, are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously according to service standards.
• Process hotel, event, and concert reservations accurately from all sources.
• Update and verify guest, travel agent, and group information as required.
• Handle credit card charges for reservations and settle guest accounts on departure.
• Promote promotions, events, and hotel rates to guests and coordinate with lodging & gaming systems.
• Assist guests with alternatives when requests cannot be fulfilled and resolve disputes amicably.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Able to correctly and procedurally, answer all incoming telephone calls in a prompt and courteous manner using service standards.
• Accurately process all reservations received from all sources offered to guests to include hotel, special events and concerts.
• Accurately and promptly connect all administrative or guest calls in a timely manner.
• Accurately and efficiently update and verify all information received with regard to travel agents, group records, sold out dates, special rate dates, minimum sales, etc.
• Accurately process credit card charges to be applied towards reservations.
• Maintain awareness of all marketing promotions, special events, general facility information and hotel rates and specials to insure efficient distribution of information to our guests.
• Works with both lodging & gaming systems in processing reservations.
• Effectively offers guests alternative options on reservations when initial request cannot be fulfilled.
• Effectively handles customer disputes to the best of their ability and directing guest disputes to the appropriate source when necessary.
• Research and accurately prepare request for "comps" when necessary.
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolong periods of time (7+ hours).
• Able to register guests correctly and procedurally in accordance to established service standards.
• Obtain appropriate amount of credit/payment for guests stay.
• Issue room keys to registered guests.
• Able to settle/close out guest accounts correctly and procedurally upon their departure.
• Able to correctly and procedurally close out shift at the end of their shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.; and be able to, walk, push, pull, grasp, reach, stoop, bend, twist and climb up and down stairs.
• Knowledgeable of the Indiana Gaming regulations as well as the company's internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Always follow the Company Service Standards model.
• Must be available for regularly scheduled work and be able to work a variety of hours, holidays, and weekends.
• Other duties may be assigned at any time.

Work Environment:

The Casino industry is a 24 Hour 365-day operation. This position will primarily be indoors under controlled temperatures. Occasional exposure to outdoor climates.

Target Salary Range:

Hourly $15
