Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Cleared Security Officer Front Desk at our Longmont, CO location. You will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and support emergency response with professionalism.

This full-time role requires a DoD Secret clearance, a high school diploma, and the ability to work the 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM shifts. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred; driving is not required.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required per law.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional front-desk presence and customer service for personnel, visitors, contractors, and guests at an aerospace and defense location.
• Verify credentials, maintain visitor records, issue temporary access materials, and direct guests per protocols.
• Monitor entry activity and security systems from the front desk; identify unusual activity and report concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner per site procedures.
• Maintain logs, complete reports, and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and responders.

Pay Rate: $27.36 / Hour

• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide a professional front-desk presence and customer service for personnel, visitors, contractors, and guests at an aerospace and defense location.
• Follow site-specific access-control procedures by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor records, issuing temporary access materials, and directing guests in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor entry activity and security-related systems from the front desk, identify unusual activity, and report concerns through appropriate channels.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate logs, complete required reports, and communicate professionally with Allied Universal leadership, site personnel, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
