Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Cleared Security Officer-Driving in Broomfield, CO. You will safeguard clients across aerospace/defense sites, conduct patrols, monitor access and provide exceptional customer service.

Active DoD Secret Clearance is required; a valid driver’s license is necessary. This full-time role includes a driving shift pattern with regular hours and shift changes.

As a Cleared Security Officer-Driving in Broomfield, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $26.59 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Monitor access to controlled areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
