Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a detail-oriented FMS Case Manager support professional in Aberdeen, MD. The role focuses on high-level analysis, report development, and supporting the FMS case management process.

The ideal candidate will track case changes, manage data across DoD/FMS databases, and collaborate with team members and external agencies to resolve discrepancies. Strong Excel and organizational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and 0-5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience working with different types of database systems.
• Prior DoD experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and with outside contacts.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment; able to work independently or in a team.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and the big picture.

Responsibilities

• Track changes to FMS cases and summarize activities for management reports.
• Develop and implement logistics program activities including purchases, transfers, and leases of weapon systems; prepare technical documentation.
• Provide program analysis support to Weapon Systems Managers in support of Foreign Military Sales Cases.
• Maintain records, update spreadsheets, trackers, and taskers.
• Pull reports and data from DoD and FMS databases.
• Identify discrepancies with team and outside agencies and drive resolutions.
• Verify accuracy of reporting information and determine missing or inaccurate data.
• Support tasks including back-up during report generation and data input.
• Compile source documents to support visibility and tracking of FMS case execution.
• Update and maintain internal databases and Excel spreadsheets.
• Track deliverables and financial data.
• Data entry and reporting reviews.
• Other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

This is not strict data entry but rather a dynamic and important FMS Case Manager support function, where they are providing high level analysis, report development, and playing an integral role in the FMS case management process.

Dominant aspects of this role include:

• Track changes to FMS cases, summarizing significant activities for management reports.
• Developing and implementing logistics program activities including, support for purchases, transfer, and leases of weapon systems, and technical documentation.

Other duties:

• Provide program analysis support to Weapon Systems Managers (WSMs) in support of Foreign Military Sales Cases.
• Maintain records, update spreadsheets, trackers, and taskers.
• Pull reports and data from DOD and FMS databases.
• Work with team members and outside agencies to identify discrepancies and track down resolutions and answers.
• Verify accuracy of reporting information and work to determine what data is missing or inaccurate.
• Initiate and resolve reporting discrepancies.
• Support tasks, including proving back-up assistance for report generation and data input.
• Compile source documents to support visibility and tracking of FMS case execution.
• Update and maintain internal databases and Excel spreadsheets

Physical Demands:

Compensation:

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000
