Job summary

Aerotek is hiring for a Production Assembler on 2nd shift in Beverly, MA. The role involves assembling neurosurgical sponges in a cleanroom using thread and sewing needles, following detailed work instructions and SOPs to ensure precision and quality in a regulated medical device setting.

The position requires strong hand dexterity, accurate repetitive task execution, and adherence to GMP/ISO standards. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with onsite work and PPE compliance on a 3:45 PM–2:15

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a regulated environment.
• Experience on a production line with repetitive tasks while maintaining high accuracy.
• Cleanroom experience and gowning compliance.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and SOPs.
• Strong hand dexterity for precise manual assembly with thread and needles.
• Experience in medical device or regulated production settings.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, workflows and quality requirements.
• Experience in ISO/GMP regulated environments (preferred).
• Ability to complete manufacturing documentation and reporting accurately.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to identify issues and raise practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble neurosurgical sponges in a cleanroom using thread and sewing needles following SOPs.
• Perform repetitive assembly tasks with high accuracy and speed.
• Use hand tools safely during assembly.
• Follow manufacturing requirements and documentation for traceability and compliance.
• Visually inspect components and finished assemblies for specifications.
• Complete production records and logs accurately.
• Maintain clean, organized production area per cleanroom protocols.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily production goals and resolve issues.
• Adhere to ISO, GMP and other regulatory practices, including PPE usage.
