Job summary

Dexterra Group is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning services for an assigned area, reporting to the Manager. The role includes supervising staff, managing budgeted hours, and ensuring quality standards are met.

You will assign tasks, inspect performance, train new staff, maintain health and safety practices, and handle timekeeping and inventory control. A background check is required and weekend/holiday work may be needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' cleaning and supervisory experience in a mall facility.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Flexible start/end times; weekend and statutory holiday work required.
• A clear criminal background check is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Assists with controlling budgeted hours for the assigned location.
• Assigns daily tasks and responsibilities to employees.
• Inspects the work on an ongoing basis to ensure performance is at the expected levels.
• Assists with site training of new cleaning personnel.
• Trains and implements Health & Safety procedures and ensuresthat safety devices and PPE are available and properly utilized.
• Maintains time keeping records for cleaning personnel.
• Respond to customer requests and ensure follow up.
• Responsible for inventory control and the daily Preventative Maintenance Program.
