Job summary

Deloitte's AI & Data practice in the United States is seeking an AI and Data Science Engineer II to drive production-grade generative AI solutions. You will work with Claude-based agentic architectures, orchestrate tools, and deliver end-to-end client engagements across design, prototyping, and deployment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years designing AI/ML solutions, hands-on Python, and experience leading workstreams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing, developing, and delivering AI/ML solutions.
• 2+ years hands-on Python AI/ML development.
• 1+ year leading project workstreams or engagements.
• At least 6 months with Claude Agent SDK for agent orchestration.
• 6+ months deploying Anthropic Claude models via API or cloud.
• Experience with prompt engineering and context engineering.
• Travel up to 50% on average.
• Immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Engage with client stakeholders as primary technical contact.
• Design and build generative agentic solutions using Claude.
• Deliver components across design, prototyping, testing, and rollout.
• Lead small teams through requirements, design, process mapping, support-model.
• Monitor progress and drive corrective action.
• Identify risks and mitigations to protect delivery.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and leadership.
