Deloitte's AI & Data team seeks an AI & Data Engineer II to drive client delivery of agentic AI solutions powered by Claude. You will design, prototype, test, and deploy components across engagements, leading small teams and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure on-time, high-quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes collaboration, clear communication, and scalable production deployments while supporting responsible AI practices and risk management. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing, developing, and delivering AI/ML solutions.
• 2+ years Python development for AI/ML applications.
• 1+ year leading project workstreams or engagements.
• 6+ months developing agentic AI solutions with Claude Agent SDK, including orchestration and MCP integrations.
• 6+ months deploying production AI solutions using Anthropic Claude models via API or cloud.
• 6+ months applying prompt/context engineering to improve AI performance.
• Ability to travel up to 50% on average.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Engage with client stakeholders as the primary technical lead for your workstream.
• Design and build Generative AI and agentic solutions using Claude, including orchestration, tool integration, and MCP-based integrations.
• Deliver components of client engagements from design to production rollout.
• Lead small teams through requirements gathering, design, and process mapping, providing technical direction.
• Monitor progress, identify variances, and drive corrective action to protect delivery.
