Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an AI and Data Science Engineer III to drive technology-focused client delivery across complex engagements in our AI & Data practice. You will lead teams and manage executive stakeholders while designing AI-enabled solutions that improve business performance and scale analytics capabilities.

The role requires 4+ years in AI/ML, 1+ year in agentic AI, and hands-on Python experience, with travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• 4+ years delivering AI/ML solutions, with at least 1 year focused on Generative AI, Agentic AI or multi-agent systems
• 2+ years of hands-on experience building AI/ML solutions using Python
• 1+ years of direct experience developing agentic AI systems, including agent orchestration, tool integration, and autonomous decision-making workflows
• 1+ years experience leading project workstreams/engagements, translating business problems into AI solutions
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, AI, or related field
• Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work and clients served
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day interactions with executive clients, stakeholders, and sponsors
• Managing and delivering components of engagements focused on technology and creative business solutions
• Leading small teams to gather requirements, design processes, prototype, test, and train
• Creation and development of project scope and schedule with resource planning
• Monitoring progress, identifying variances, and applying corrective actions
• Managing changes to scope, schedule, and costs as per the change plan
• Identifying high-level risks and mitigation actions
• Developing and maintaining communication with key stakeholders and decision makers
• Contributing to design, development, and operation of Data/AI platforms for clients
