Job summary

Sonoma State University seeks a Classroom Technology Support Specialist to oversee and actively maintain campus classroom technologies, providing advanced technical support and consultation across academic units. You will collaborate with CTET and campus partners to ensure seamless access to systems, data, and applications, and lead workshops for faculty on technical and pedagogical topics.

Qualifications

Three years or the equivalent of working experience with classroom technology systems is highly preferred.
High proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Thorough knowledge of Mac OS X and Windows operating systems and hardware, with the ability to troubleshoot malfunctions.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced technical support and consultation to the university community, ensuring seamless access to systems, data, and applications.
Oversee and actively maintain SSU classroom technologies in general assignment classrooms (Tier I and II support).
Lead workshops and trainings for faculty on technical and pedagogical topics.
