Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools is seeking an Instructional Para Educator to support students under licensed staff. You will help individuals and small groups with basic curriculum work, implement programming, reinforce skills, and monitor behavior in and out of the classroom.

The role includes preparing classroom materials, assisting with tests, and documenting student achievement while supporting classroom teachers and administrators in delivering effective instruction.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• High school equivalency or higher education required.
• No professional work experience required.
• Title I assignments require two years of higher education or an associate degree or demonstrated knowledge in reading, writing and math.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teacher in preparing materials and administering tests.
• Assist students with curriculum and small group instruction to reinforce learning.
• Monitor student behavior and reinforce discipline procedures.
• Provide basic clerical support and data entry for the classroom teacher.
• Assist with field trips, events, and other activities as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
