Job summary

Qualifications

• CDA credential or associate degree required.
• One year of experience with children.
• Ability to operate office, audio/visual, or related equipment.
• Understanding of what motivates student learning.
• Knowledge of classroom curriculum for assigned grade.
• Strong business English, spelling, punctuation, grammar and arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing instructional lessons and activities.
• Support students individually and in small groups.
• Assist in monitoring student behavior and classroom management.
• Administer tests and collect assessment data.
• Prepare instructional materials and reports as requested.
• Maintain a neat, safe classroom and manage records.
