Job summary

MSD of Warren Township seeks an Instructional Assistant to support teachers and students in classrooms. Under supervision, you will reinforce foundational skills, supervise groups, and help implement instructional activities across reading, writing, math, and art.

The role is 7 hours per day, 181 days per year, non-exempt, hourly. Starting pay is $16.05 per hour. An Associate degree or 60 college hours, or ParaPro eligibility, is preferred; background checks and clearances are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher or 60 semester hours, or paraPro requirement.
• Experience with school-age children preferred.
• Willing to meet ESSA paraprofessional requirements and clear background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in supervising students and facilitating activities.
• Provide instructional support in reading, writing, math, and related areas.
• Help prepare instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Track student progress and maintain accurate records.
