MSD of Warren Township is seeking an Instructional Assistant to support teachers and students in a classroom setting. Under direct supervision, you will assist with reading, writing, math and other activities, help supervise students, and prepare instructional materials.

Applicants should have an Associates degree or 60 college hours or pass the ParaPro test, and must pass background checks. This position follows the school calendar and offers benefits after 60 days.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 60 semester hours, or successful ParaPro test.
• Previous vocational training and/or work with school-age children preferred.
• Must pass Expanded Criminal History Check and Expanded Child Protection Index Check.
• Must meet ESSA paraprofessional requirements.

Responsabilités

• Assist in reading, writing, math, spelling, art, or other activities as directed.
• Supervise students individually or in small groups and support learning activities.
• Prepare instructional materials and classroom setups; assist with laminating, copying, and filing.
• Maintain accurate records of student information and progress.
