Job summary

Metropolitan School District of Warren Township is seeking an Instructional Assistant for the Renaissance Program at Creston Intermediate and Middle School. 7 hours per day, 181 days per year, non-exempt hourly position with starting pay $16.05 per hour.

Under supervision, you’ll support teachers and students, assist in small-group instruction, and help prepare instructional materials and records. Benefits begin after 60 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Education requirement as stated: Associate degree or 60 credit hours or ParaPro eligibility.
• Experience with school-age children preferred.
• Paraprofessional requirements under ESSA must be met.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in supervising students and supporting learning activities.
• Lead small-group instruction in reading, writing, math, or spelling as directed.
• Prepare instructional materials and photocopying as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
