Job summary

University of Washington Bothell Information Technology seeks a Classroom Technology Support Technician to deliver hands-on support for classroom A/V systems, conferencing spaces, and smart classrooms. The role involves troubleshooting, setup, configuration, and event support across diverse campus facilities.

The ideal candidate has experience with Extron/Biamp/AMX control systems, Windows and MacOS environments, and a strong customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Computer Maintenance Technician II or five years as a computer maintenance technician.
• Experience with audio-visual systems installation, testing, configuration and support.
• Microsoft Windows OS imaging, troubleshooting, and software management; familiarity with MacOS.
• Strong communication and customer services skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical technical support for classroom technology and A/V environments.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, or escalate incidents to restore service levels.
• Direct and coordinate assistance for events and training sessions.
• Maintain inventory and assist with repairs and vendor coordination.
• Support Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other classroom integration tools.
